I love Harry Potter

Just because my daughter is so gorgeous I will post her beautiful pictures for all to enjoy.

Actually, since I bought Harry Potter she has been a little neglected. J.T. has been gone for what seems like forever and I have had no help.

I completed Harry Potter and I am sure Brooke is thrilled to have her Mommy back. It was a much easier book to read when I could dedicate a full day or two to the book alone.

Brooke has been pretty bored in the mean time, so I have been trying to make up for it. I even took her to the park with my friend who takes her pictures. Her girls are the twins sitting next to Brooke. I could not get a decent picture. The park was nice and completely shaded, which explains why the picture is kind of blue. The park is shaded with tarps.

Brooke fit into her first pair of big girl pajamas. They are 12month size. She is however in the 90th percentile for her height. Shes not skinny either:)

Regan, I better get a post!

Strong kid

Brooke had her 6 month checkup this week. As usual I was terrified for her shots. My mom came for support but Brooke was a true trooper. She hardly cried at her shots. It was not till the last one that she started screaming but was quick to be consoled. I was so incredibly proud of how strong she was.

The doctor also recommended that Brooke start using/playing with her sippy cup. She does not like to swallow the water but she does enjoy spilling it everywhere.

Brooke's new toys

Due to Brookes very large accomplishment of sitting up, my Mom has
found it necessary to reward her with new toys. I had no objections.

Brooke has been very slippery in the bath this last month since she refuses to lay on her bath pad. My Moms solution is Brookes new favorite bath chair. She is much more fun to give baths to now that I am not frightened for her life.

Another great toy is her learning center. It is hard to find tall toys. Brooke is constantly leaning forward to grab a little toy that she threw out of reach and falls on her face. She loves sitting straight up and hearing all the noises it makes. I wish I could take it to church. She already gets bored and J.T. makes me take her out when she is just talking.

First trip back

This is embarrassing to admit but this is my first time back to the temple since Brooke. My cousins Genesse and Leslie went through for the first time. I was so happy to be there for them. I did however cry on the car ride to the temple because I missed Brooke. I am so wierd.
To make matters worse, we got out of the temple and had a flat tire. I was very worried that this would prolong my time away from Brooke. My cousin Tyler changed our tire very quickly and I was very happy to not have to attempt the trick.

Natalie has chastised me for not posting recently. If however I had gone to Hawaii recently I would have more pictures up:)

J.T. has been very busy so I have not had a computer to play with. Here are some pictures of Brooke's and my latest adventures.

Brooke has now accomplished sitting up. She has loved having a new angle with things.

The other little girl in the chair is her friend Brandy. They were born a day apart and in the same hospital. Brandy is very calm and sat quietly in her moms arms the whole time while Brooke went crazy with all her toys.
