Two Shows In Two Weeks

Wow, two shows in two weeks is a lot of work. We take the show on the road next Friday to Corpus Christi, TX. For those of you who saw last weeks show, I am sure you were delighted. For those of you who missed the show...we are no longer friends. But you have a cance to redeem yourselves by watching next week. It will be the debut of street fighting legend Kimbo Slice (Brooke's favorite).
Finals are around the corneer so I have to figure out what happened this semester. I have to admit being on the road four weeks this semester hasn't been great for law school, but I will manage to get by.

News Flash: Brooke does not ALWAYS smile

I had to document. Everyone says how Brooke is always smiling. Most people have never seen her do anything but smile. She smiles at everyone without prejudice.

When I took her outside in the morning so I could read, she stayed straight face. Even without a smile her face is perfect. Look at those eyelashes!

Update

I have been a blogging slacker, I know. And don't worry Becky, the post remains:)

Brooke can now crawl, if you can call it that. She only uses her arms in what I call her "army crawl". She is however very pleased to get around on her own. Due to Brooke's new crawling adventures I feel the need to mop daily and once again invested in the Swiffer. The top two pictures are us at Sushi. We are always there and Brooke loves it. I have given her some food I maybe should not but she loves it. The Sushi chef also prepares fruit just for Brooke and she loves the Soy beans. This will all be new to J.T. Since Brooke had a choking incident J.T. has refused to allow puffs around her anymore. It was scary and J.T. saved the day, and my Brooke.

We have gone to a lot of Dylan's football games. I don't think he has lost one game yet. Brooke gets surrounded by admirers and I even let the cheerleaders hold her. Dylan gets very offended if I read while I am there, but it is all I do anymore. I read all of Natalie's books as well as a ton more. I go to the library and the librarian starts going book crazy pulling all of them off the shelf for me to read.

I do feel like Brooke gets neglected occasionally while I read so I have tried to set up a few play dates. Sad but true, she is not a good playmate. Kids her age do not seem to defend themselves against Brooke and always leave crying. I guess only the older kids can handle her.
Brooke had tons of fun with Wyatt and his computer. It was a field day for Brooke to have access to a computer and she took advantage. Wyatt shared willingly. He also gives kisses now which I made him share with me in order to get his ball back:)

Leesa sent Brooke a butterfly Halloween costume. She is simply the cutest thing you have ever seen.

Where has J.T. been all this time?

As you might assume, this was posted by me--J.T. I could not stand looking at the hideous questionnaire that Britney posted. Who ever sent that ugly thing for for us to post should be ashamed, and banned from posting stuff. Ok, now I feel better.

I realize most of the bloggy here is about daddy not being home; so I must say my peace...I have been working. Above is my fight card for October. Our ShoXC is our farm league show that features the rising young stars of MMA that are sure to impress. Next month, we have EliteXC in Corpus Christi, TX. The EliteXC will feature some of the biggest names in MMA. So, show some love and watch my fights, I guarantee you will be entertained. If you think I'm trying to shake you down for some ratings, just ask Janae Shamo--she is now a HUGE MMA fan after watching just one show!

To the left is Murilo "Ninja" Rua. He was our first EliteXC Middle Weight Champion. In a thrilling fight he KO'd "Smokin" Joey Villasenor in the second round.

So, this is basically what I have been up to--making great fights.

Chuys Wedding

I had more great pictures but our computer is so slow right now I don't have the patience to download them. We went to Mexico this weekend for Chuys wedding. We had so much fun seeing our old friends and eating the great food.
It took us 9 hours to get to Mexico. We were exhausted by the time we got there but it was worth it. We picked up our friend Regan in Phoenix who along with Chuy had lived in Florida with us. We had so much fun with everyone.

We also got to see Lydia and her family which was long over due. We have been lucky to see her more lately since she has been in California a few times.
The wedding parties went on and on. There were basically three after parties! We have still not slept.

Chuy was so thrilled to see us and vice versa. We miss all our friends so much and there was no better time to get back together.

Regan, J.T. and I had much too much fun sampling all the food in Mexico. Regan was afraid of the ice, but other then that tried anything J.T. recommended, which was everything.

We also stopped in Phoenix and had lunch with Trevor his wife and kids. It was so great to see them and we are planning on seeing them again soon.

I have a few more posts to put up but this computer is to slow at the moment. The trip did get me excited for our graduation cruise. Natalie and Janae, we need to plan!

Natalies comment reminded me, I left Brooke the entire weekend with my Mom. It was better then I thought and I will easily leave her for our cruise!

BYU vs. UCLA

J.T.'s family came down for the BYU vs. UCLA football game. Brooke was so happy to see her grandparents as well as Brett and Suzie. Everyone had so much fun watching Brooke do all of her tricks. We went to the game and as usual, everyone went goo goo gaa gaa over Brooke. These two little UCLA cheerleaders would not leave her alone. They hugged and kissed her for a good 30 minutes while we visited with one of J.T.'s law school friends who was tailgating. They were really very cute and in love with my Brooke.

After the game we visited with Dallas and cheered him for his great plays. The game was rigged so we were a little dissapointed, but BYU played awesome and it was fun to watch.
